Emma Chase

Emma has been a Construction Manager for [solidcore] since October 2021. She oversees all steps of the new studio construction process, focusing mostly on our west coast and midwest expansion. Emma was born & raised in the Pittsburgh area, but has called many cities her home since receiving her Civil Engineering degree from Bucknell University in 2016. As a project manager at the Whiting-Turner Contracting Co, she was responsible for preconstruction on a large corporate campus project in Baltimore, MD and fit-out/renovations for a data center complex in Tulsa, OK before moving to Washington, DC in 2019. She then spent the next two years managing the construction of a large, mixed-use development in Northwest DC. During this time, she also earned her master’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of Southern California.

Emma was introduced to [solidcore] by a high school friend who always talked about the awesome new workout she had discovered shortly after moving to DC. It only took one or two classes before Emma was just as addicted to spending time under the blue lights! Emma is excited to bring her experience gained with a large general contractor to the [solidcore] team as the company rapidly expands throughout the country. Having always loved DC, she is especially thrilled to make it her permanent home (although she will forever be a Pittsburgh sports fan). When Emma isn’t walking a construction site or on the phone collaborating with contractors, she likes to spend time doing DIY projects, sewing, playing pickleball, shopping, and exploring new restaurants & bars around the city.
